In a recent Movieweb interview with David Duchovny promoting The TV Set DVD release, Evan Jacob asked the kind of questions I only wish more interviewers would ask.
And oh yeah, he asks about the status of an XF sequel, too.
Check it out: http://www.movieweb.com/dvd/news/89/22989.php
Right. As if THAT's an afterthought. My fingers and toes have been crossed for a month now, hoping that a sequel will happen. Before the Writers Strike. Hoping against hope that Fox will say (or has said) YES.
This Sidewalks interview is super fun. More about The TV Set and the status of XF2.

If there is money to be made Rupert is already half way there :-D
How are you?
"If there is money to be made Rupert is already half way there :-D"
But there is never, ever enough. He doesn't seem to have a hard-on for Spanish, Chinese, or Arabic language media, that I know of, though. Even though lots of people on the planet speak those languages, too.
I gotta tell ya Telenovellas are *fantastic.* Rupert's missing out.
Thank you. What a great segue....
At his age, I don't think Rupert has a hard-on for much anymore...
You forced me to go to the dictionary to look up the word "segue"... I have learnt something today, thank you.
"Thank you."
Are you thanking me or yourself?
Anyway, have a great day, buddy!
Best segue *ever*....
And Now for Something Completely Different.
Well that's an obscure and slighty mysterious reply...
Monty Python's obscure? If so, that's tragic.
I didn't know American's watched Monty Python?
How much television do you watch?
"How much television do you watch?"
I resemble that remark.
Next you're gonna ask me if we Americans really ARE that overweight.
"I didn't know American's watched Monty Python?"
Before there was This is Spinal Tap, there was Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
Before there was Sex and the City, there was AbFab.
Before there was The Office (American style), there was The Office.
2 strikes against me. Comedy nerd and word nerd.
"Comedy nerd..."
It would have been much cooler if you could've, somehow, made 'comedy' and 'nerd' rhyme to become a 'Poetry Nerd'. But dang... can't win 'em all.
"Next you're gonna ask me if we Americans really ARE that overweight."
Nope! I already know so! You're the exact same breed as us... except some of "y'all" (That was my attempt at being a 'Texan') have an annoying twang in your accents :-D
